This call is confidential, carries no obligation, and is designed to establish whether your situation falls within our area of competence before either party commits time to a deeper assessment. If we determine at that stage that a different type of adviser would serve you better, we will say so clearly and, where we can, suggest an appropriate alternative. We do not charge for the initial scoping call.

What is the minimum portfolio size for your services?
For the risk management assessment, the minimum is KSh 10 million in investable assets. For ongoing advisory mandates, KSh 5 million is the practical floor, though we assess each situation individually — a portfolio just below that threshold with complex structural needs may still be appropriate.
Do you manage assets on a discretionary basis?
No. Codingcanvasq is a non-discretionary advisory firm. We assess, analyse, and recommend — the client retains full decision-making authority over all transactions. Clients who require discretionary management should engage a licensed portfolio manager.
Are your fees commission-based or fee-only?
Fee-only, always. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of third-party remuneration from product providers. Our fee is agreed and disclosed in writing before engagement begins, and it is the only payment we receive.
Can you advise clients outside Garissa?
Yes. While our office is in Garissa, we serve clients across Kenya and conduct the majority of ongoing advisory work via telephone and video conference. Initial in-person meetings in Garissa are preferred but not required.
